At NUSSC, we do one thing - and we do it big. We run unforgettable trips to the Alps packed with skiing, snowboarding, apres, and absolute chaos! Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned shredder, NUSSC is all about fun on and off the slopes, for everyone.

To kick off this season…  we’re stoked to announce Newcastle’s biggest ski trip for 2027! This Easter (3rd-10th April 2027), we’re heading to LES DEUX ALPES — boasting 220km of slopes, including a 3,600m glacial peak. Just imagine... 3 main stages across the resort, a custom-built après arena for all our headliners and a pool & spa waiting for you back at the accommodation. It really is going to be a trip for the history books. 🏔️

Nearly 1,000 students will descend on the French Alps for a week of huge events, massive headline acts, and non-stop après — all for just £545.

As Newcastle’s only independent snowsports society, anyone can join — whether you’re a current student at any uni or an alumnus of Newcastle or Northumbria. So rally the crew, dust off your ski gear, and get ready for the trip of a lifetime.

Over the years, we’ve hit some of the best resorts in Europe - from Tignes and Val Thorens to Avoriaz - each trip bigger and better than the last. Think pond skimming, rail jams, insane après sessions, and DJ takeovers that keep the mountains alive long after the lifts close.

Every NUSSC trip brings the perfect mix of skiing, chaos, and community. Whether it’s carving down the slopes, dancing on tables at après, or exploring new resorts with hundreds of likeminded students, it’s always a week to remember.
