To kick off this season… we’re stoked to announce Newcastle’s biggest ski trip for 2026! This Easter (21st–28th March 2026), we’re heading to RISOUL — boasting 185km of pistes, tree runs, and one of Europe’s best snow parks. It’s shaping up to be a trip for the history books. 🏔️
Over 850+ students will descend on the French Alps for a week of huge events, massive headline acts, and non-stop après — all for just £449.
As Newcastle’s only independent snowsports society, anyone can join — whether you’re a current student at any uni or an alumnus of Newcastle or Northumbria. So rally the crew, dust off your ski gear, and get ready for the trip of a lifetime.

Over the years, we’ve hit some of the best resorts in Europe - from Tignes and Val Thorens to Les Deux Alpes - each trip bigger and better than the last. Think pond skimming, rail jams, insane après sessions, and DJ takeovers that keep the mountains alive long after the lifts close.
Every NUSSC trip brings the perfect mix of skiing, chaos, and community. Whether it’s carving down the slopes, dancing on tables at après, or exploring new resorts with hundreds of likeminded students, it’s always a week to remember.
And as for what’s next? The legendary NUSSC Easter trip is back — bigger, better, and snowier than ever.
